JOVENCITAS Orphanage

Jovencitas is an all-girls orphanage. Many of the girls come from broken homes and have lived life on the street. Many have suffered drug and sexual abuse, as well as emotional and mental maltreatment. They are taught the teachings of Christ and an informal 12-step program to help the girls work on their past mistakes, forgive wrongs done to them and develop skills in order to lead productive lives upon leaving the orphanage.

Jovencitas is run by Maricruz Rios Rdz., a strict, caring, and wonderful Christian woman. Maricruz would like to start construction on the new orphanage April 2006. Refer to "News" page.

ESTRELLAS PARA NINOs (STARS FOR THE KIDS)

There are thousands of children in Juarez, Mexico that do not have parents to go home to. Only a handful are fortunate enough to be placed in an orphanage. The other children are left to the mercy of the streets where ... often they are kidnapped, raped, murdered, among other horrible things.

We are a group of investors who have become engaged in a service project to assist and spend time with several orphanages in Juarez, Mexico; across the border from El Paso, Texas.
